Partridge Creek Young Guns 4-H
|
Partridge Creek Young Guns is the official youth shotgun program for Partridge Creek Gun Club. Young Guns is a 4-H club affiliated with the Clemson University 4-H Program and is open to both member and non-member youth from the ages of 8 – 18. Practices are held at Partridge Creek with the possibility of occasional visits to other nearby clubs and facilities. Practices are on Saturday starting at 9:00 am and usually conclude around 12:00 pm. The current practice schedule can be found on the club calendar. Parent or guardian is required to be on site.
There are a variety of organized events our athletes participate in. Many enjoy registered shoots locally at the Partridge Creek with organizations such as the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA), National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) and Amateur Trap Association (ATA). Additionally, many of our youth athletes also take part in programs where they compete against their peers. Programs such as the Scholastic Clay Target Program and South Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation.
Partridge Creek Young Guns focuses on the safety and enjoyment of a lifelong sport. We encourage all of our current athletes to work with new youth members as this peer teaching and mentoring is key to future success. The coaching staff are all credentialed at either the national or program specific level and have a wealth of experience.
If you have a youth that is interested in giving shotgun sports a try, please contact us.
