Partridge Creek held its 14th Annual Gun Club Championship on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Sixty-six shooters participated in the 150 target event that included 50 skeet, 50 trap and 50 sporting clays. This is our largest club championship to date. Congratulations to Robert Lindley who shot a 141 to win the club championship (43 sporting clays, 50 skeet and 48 trap). Robert has won the Club Championship one other time in the past. Our first time HOA Ladies was won by Patty Walton. This is a fun club event and a great way to meet other club members.
Youth member winners were: Dylan Heinsohn as Youth Champion with a 129, Mack Morris won Youth Trap with a 34, Justin Haddle won Youth Skeet with a 46 and Jacob Gallagher won Youth Sporting Clays with a 30.
We say a big thank you to Tyler Morris who organized the championship this year, Dave Welton who set the sporting clay course, Ron Bacha who was a willing referee all day and everyone who helped to make this a successful event. We also want to thank Randy King who cooked lunch and Darlene Haddle who assisted in the kitchen. Thank you to Johnnie Nash who brought his famous crab dip.
It was nice to see an increase in member turnout and we look forward to seeing you at our 15th Annual Club Championship in 2019.
